This big sister was NOT into taking pictures. I just want you to understand that older siblings aren’t always into it, and yet, we got these amazing gems anyway. The best thing to do is just to relax and convince them that it’s not all that important to us, and then it seems fun. I almost always do sibling shots right away so that I can let the baby fall asleep after they are gone. It works much better that way. But if an older brother or sister is just hating on me and you and all of us, sometimes it’s easier to just do something else for awhile until they decide that their burning curiosity is just too much for them and they have to get involved. This always works. Little kids have Fear of Missing Out Syndrome harder than anybody.
And look at that- smiles and love and all things are beautiful again.
