Oh, wow, I cannot tell you how much fun I had shooting this great session. It was a short and sweet one, but we had a blast. I played Taylor Swift in the background, and we told secrets and played eye spy and little guessing games to keep it fun.
These girls are so tight and have so much fun together in this stage of life. They are both passionate, expressive and funny. Their world is about fairy wings, wiggly teeth, stories and adventure. Their parents are so excited about expanding horizons for these girls, helping to find them great books, taking them on trips to places that will excite their imagination, and helping them figure out how to find answers to their questions.
The wardrobe is their own, although I am thinking of asking their parents to contribute it to the studio wardrobe when they outgrow them, I love these sweet dresses and headbands.
I love being a family photographer, and getting to take photos of such lively, intelligent children. It is so easy to put together a fast, fun and beautiful studio photoshoot for kids of all ages. It is just about incorporating age appropriate games and entertainment so that they know this time is about celebrating them and their growth, not about tight clothes and sitting still. Laughter, jokes, and some loving attention from their parents makes for a quick, fun visit.
